Line and Shape What locations and subject matter did you choose to shoot for your photos?= I did my photos from my room because last Tuesday it was raining and it was gonna be a good photo to take of a raindrop.
Describe the photos you took:What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?)= I zoomed in a lot to show the closer look of the raindrop to see the shape and the size of the raindrop to get a closer look at it. What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...)=The Raindrop i took was straight on because there were lots of raindrops on my window so i took a photo of a big Raindrop. Are your photographs horizontal or vertical?= All of my photos are Vertical because I wanted to show you the whole shape of the raindrop and the lines of it too. Did you consider the rule of thirds to compose your shots? In which photos? = I didn’t put any rule of thirds in the pictures except the raindrop. I cropped the raindrop picture because it was the center of the photo and it is in the middle of the raindrop. Which one of of your photos is a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer’s eye through the work?= The window screen photo because Ms. Troutman really liked that i zoomed in and showed the background of the photo and it really surprised her and me.
Pattern and Texture
Pattern and Texture What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?) I was really close to the photos, I just zoomed in all the photos. What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...) Some photos I was below the angle and some of my photos I was straight on. Is your photograph horizontal or vertical? Most of my photos are horizontal, just one is vertical. Does this photo follow the rule of thirds? Why or why not? (Describe). Yes because there is nothing in the rule of thirds that is in the center. Is this photo an example of pattern, texture and/or rhythm? Explain Yes it is because all of my photos have designs in them. It has a repetition of elements. It refers to surface object which can be felt with a sense of touch.
